Book Review - The Assassins' Village

Had a chance to do some reading.  Came across The Assassins' Village by Faith Mortimer

An original setting - a small mountain village in Cyprus - with an eclectic mix of characters including a number of expatriates and local Cypriots provide an inventive recipe  for a good whodunit murder mystery.

At the onset of the story the victim appears to be a prominent and dignified man.  In reality though he is a thoroughly despicable human being with a host of enemies, any one of which could be the killer.  With such a large cast of characters it is sometimes hard to keep them all straight but each contributes their own story to the rich mélange that is The Assassins' Village.  A good read.
